Anne Goss is a Ashe County native. It is hard to believe that she is one of twelve children! She was raised on a farm, and she has some great stories to tell about that. She was the sales person of the year for Julie E. Townsend, Real estate Services in 2015. She is a mother, grandmother, and a very young great-grandmother, as well as a cat lover. She is also an incredible cook/chef. A number of years ago, Anne earned a degree from Wilkes Community College in Business Administration. If you want someone who knows the County, Anne is your man!
As a native of Ashe County, Martin was recruited right out of high school to play baseball for the St. Louis Cardinal's Minor League system. After an injury, he moved back to Ashe County and opened-up the first gym the County had in 1981. Little's gym is still in operation, and it is the largest gym in the County. He is a consummate body-bulder. Debbie, his wife, owns the renowed "Dancing Debbie's." Martin also began selling real estate in 2001, and he joined forces with Julie in 2008. He is very active in his church: West Jefferson First Baptist, and he began "Shoes for Kids," with Melody Rector. This organization makes sure that children have new shoes for the school year. Martin also helps with New Hope, a camp ground for children who suffer from cancer.
